Nisha, Nachhilfelehrer - Sprachen (Elst)

Hello! My name is Nisha, and I am 22 years old. I am from London, England, and have just recently moved to Nijmegen. English is my first language, and I am learning Dutch.
I have worked with children since I was 16 years old. I have experience working in schools with children aged 5-11.
I have a Level 3 qualification (in England, I am not sure of the Dutch equivalent) in Early Years (childcare). I studied this for two years at Norland College in Bath, UK.
I work as an au pair in France a couple of times a year with a family (children aged: 4, 7, 9, 11) - so I have experience working with children whose first language is not English.
Although my Dutch is very basic, I feel the best way to learn a language is through immersion. I would speak to the child in English, and through first-hand experience and imagery, they will learn the language the same way they learned to talk.
